"Ex-Boyfriend Revenge" Kit Encourages Women To Murder In Style
Why is a designer handbag company selling an all-inclusive domestic violence kit?
More> Co.Design

This is horrible on SO MANY LEVELS.
1) for the reasons the article points out: “Eek! The product is clearly meant as a joke, but a joke on what? The image of the spurned woman as batshit crazy? The fact that some 30% of women worldwidereport having experienced violence at the hands of a significant other, and a significant number of women in jail were incarcerated for killing their abuser? Not totally sure.”
2) WOMEN DO NOT NEED SPECIALLY-DEAMED “GIRL” PRODUCTS! (obviously not as important as the first set of reasons, but as a joke it’s still working off of these terrible gender identity stereotypes.)
